Resident Spotlight: Carole Whitehead

“Despite all the troubles I had throughout my years, I still thanked God each day”—Carole Whitehead

Carole was born in 1931 in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Topeka High in 1949. Soon after high school, Carole started working different jobs then married her sweetheart Jack Whitehead in 1950. Carole and Jack had four beautiful children within their first 5 years of marriage. Carole is also part of our Women’s Devotional program we have here at Tealridge Assisted Living. She is also a member of Edmond Church of Christ and Laurence Art Guild Association. In February 2018, Carole recently won the “Sweetheart of the Year” Award for her church. Carole’s hobbies are singing and playing spiritual music on her piano and she enjoys art work, especially water coloring. Her favorite food to eat is ice cream. What best describes Carole is her kindness, and uplifting words of encouragement. All of the residents and staff members love and appreciate everything she has done for the Tealridge community.
